Every Level Has Its Wave.
From the forgiving walls of Tiger Track to the insane barrels of Speedies — G-Land works for anyone willing to make the mission.
The hidden gem of G-Land for developing surfers. A long, playful left-right that walls up consistently without the reef pressure of the main breaks. Perfect for our mixed-level groups.
The natural progression. Softer than the main point, 20/20s offer fun, punchy waves when the main breaks are maxing out. Great for building G-Land confidence.
G-Land’s opening act. The widest take-off zone on the reef, most exposed to incoming swell. Square, powerful barrel entries that demand experience and commitment.
The default G-Land session for experienced surfers. 200–300m of mechanical peeling perfection. Ideal at 8–12ft faces. Cavernous barrels that go from tight to open depending on swell.
The iconic one. Insanely fast, hollow barrels that barrel relentlessly toward the channel. A surfer can stay inside the tube for 10–12 seconds. The G-Land experience most people dream of.
The connector between Money Trees and Speedies. Only appears on moderate to heavy swells — fickle but spectacular when on. A 200-yard barrel section that few surfers ever experience.

Here’s what a typical 3-day retreat looks like. Longer trips add more surf days — nothing changes except you get more barrels.
- Pickup from your accommodation in West Bali
- Departure: ~5:00pm, arrival G-Land ~9:00pm
- Camp check-in, dinner, briefing for the next days
- Morning surf session (Tiger Track for beginners, main break for advanced)
- local BBQ on the beach
- Afternoon surf session (Tiger Track for beginners, main break for advanced)
- Sunset on the beach, dinner at camp & video analysis
- Dawn patrol session: 6:00am lineup — best conditions, fewer people
- Breakfast, rest & recharge
- Mid-morning second session with guide coaching

When to Go &
What to Know
Peak: June to September — SE trade winds blow consistently offshore, Indian Ocean groundswells arrive daily. This is when G-Land fires at its best.
Shoulder: April & October — Less consistent but less crowded. Good option for mixed-level groups.
Tiger Track tip: Even during shoulder season, Tiger Track can be great — slightly smaller swell still makes it pump.
