Umar is a really good surf coach and surfer, very patient, fun and skilled. I definitely recommend him!

Umar is one of the best instructors out there. I spent a month learning with him initially, in the water almost everyday, and now I come back every year. That’s how much of an impact he’s had on my surfing and my confidence. He pushes you so you’re constantly progressing, but you also feel super safe in his care. No big wipe out scaries! After each session, I felt stronger, more capable, and more in tune with the ocean. He also gives you proper time in the water, not just a quick in-and-out, and genuinely wants you to improve. Beyond the coaching, he’s just an amazing person to be around. Funny, kind, and full of good energy. He’s also an incredible surfer and you learn a lot just by watching him. If you’re serious about improving and want an instructor who’s as invested in your growth, Umar is the one!

Umar ist einfach top! Er ist nicht nur ein hervorragender Surfer, er ist auch ein super Surf-Coach. Er kennt die Spots, die Kommunikation ist super easy, man fühlt sich mit ihm sicher im Wasser und er ist auch noch sehr unterhaltsam. Ich hatte 3 Semi-Private Surfessions mit ihm und alle 3 waren wirklich gut, er konnte mir gutes Feedback geben und hat mir innerhalb kürzester Zeit geholfen mich zu verbessern und mir Confidence zu geben 🙂
